Used this on a recent trip and it worked great holding my make up and other toiletries .better products out thereThis is a nice small case. I prefer not using the dividers as I found them to be an odd assortment.Pros:• The pouches for lipstick are good, providing you have tube lipsticks.• The mesh compartment under the lid is great to keep small loose items together – like bobby pins, hair ties, eyeliners, eyebrow pencils, and mascaras.• The bag’s top zipper allows you to take full advantage of the bag’s depth, if you have larger items.Cons:• The large gap under the stiff inserts allows items to slide around inside the bag.• The compartments formed by the inserts are too large for normal-sized cosmetics or creams. You would have to put several items in each compartment, and they would bump against each other.• The large compartment created by the stiff inserts is not quite long enough for a full-sized hairbrush. It is not wide enough for a full-sized eyeshadow compact. If you try to put a smaller-sized compact there, it will slide under the insert.• Things like powder compacts and blush compacts have to be put together in one place and will be jostled around, which can cause the make-up inside the compact to crack.• The mesh compartment is too shallow for anything very thick, like a full-sized blush brush.• Do not know what the flap next to the lipstick pouches is meant for.Overall, this bag would be better for toiletries than for cosmetics. So first things first. I would not call this a large make-up bag. For anyone that carries a lot of products on a trip, this is not large. More a small/medium size. It is not tall, so anything past a small serum bottle has to lay sideways. I can probably get most of my basic travel stuff in this, though not my hair products. But I don't really carry a lot on work trips. You can use it as one open bag or using the velcro pieces, make smaller compartments. There's a makeup brush/equipment pocket that will hold 5 brushes with shorter handles. Maximum 6" total length.I like that it will flatten well for storage between trips. This Makeup Bag Travel is a compressible case (flat) when not in use. The Velcro inserts allow for flexible arrangement of compartments. It zippers open and closed easily. My tallest bottles are 6.5" and too tall to be placed upright. Lain on their sides they will take up too much space. That's the only reason this rates four stars instead of five.If you're looking for a case that doesn't take up too much room on the shelf or in a drawer, and tall bottles aren't your problem, then this could be an excellent choice for travel. This is a nice bag for under $15. You can get a much higher quality bag if you want to spend more, but for the price, this is a good makeup bag. I wanted something to put my makeup in when traveling and this has little compartments that velcro in to make adjusting the compartments easy to fit your needs. It has a place to keep brushes organized and clean which is also removable and velcro'ed in place. Overall if you want a budget friendly makeup bag, this is a good fit.So whats to like its simple no frills take what you need with kinda bag, which is also its Achilles heal overstuffed or overweight this things gonna bust .But keeping that in mind its storage compartments are well separated and if you pack light and well this lil guy will do the trick
